Create a Free Virtual Private Server On Amazon Web Services (AWS)
This is part of a series about How To Start a Website Flipping Business from Scratch. You can view the rest of the articles here.
Webservers, Edge Caching, Dynamic Databases, and Load balancers, all yours for free for 12 months.
Utilizing and prototyping your business idea on these free services is simply amazing.

Amazon Web Services use a pay-as-you-go model, meaning when you’re just starting, you can pay as little as a dollar for the services you use.
But that’s enough of that. I don’t have to convince you. You’re already here to learn how to use these services to your advantage and build a fully functioning webserver to run your website.
This process will be the most technical part of the project, and I’ll try my best to explain it as clearly as possible.
I will cover the essentials of building a web server, but if you want to learn more about this topic, like connecting it to an object cache or an external database for optimization and speed, join us in the dedicated group for this subject.

For this part of the process, you will need:
- a computer (this entire process is done easier on a computer)
